The Orange County Board of Supervisors in California has declared racism a public health crisis. “These health disparities underscore the urgently need to address systemic racism as a root cause of racial and ethnic health inequities and a core element of public health efforts,” Chairman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors Doug Chaffee said.
