His posts on social media got him in trouble.

When I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE: A Phenomenological Analysis of Ye’s Fashion, Social Media, and Fashion Partners

Ye has been accused of racism and antisemitism in recent days after his fashion show and social media posts.

Ye tweeted that he would soon go “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” an apparent reference to the United States’ defense readiness condition, known as Def. There was a Con.

Meta, which owns Instagram, also told NPR it removed content that violated policies. The restrictions were not specified, but they were blamed on some posts.

I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3      On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I am not Anti Semitic because black people are actually also Jew and you guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone who opposed your agenda.

On Friday, Ye posted a message on his site saying he wanted to show the Jewish people that no one can threaten or influence him. I told you this was war.”

He wore a shirt that said “White Lives Matter” while at Paris Fashion Week and he has received a lot of attention. According to the Anti-Defamation League, the phrase first appeared in 2015 as a racist response to the Black Lives Matter movement. The stunt started a backlash and eventually resulted in a two-part interview with Tucker Carlson of Fox News.

Ye’s other highly popular and profitable fashion partnership with Adidas is also now currently “under review” following Ye’s stunt at Paris Fashion Week.

Dialogue to Donald Trump and Walker on the issue of antisemitism, he joked about the NBA star and Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving

When West was involved in a controversy, Chappelle usually approaches him, but he waited to observe the response to West’s antisemitic statements. Chappelle also said that the NBA star was in trouble after sharing a link to an antisemitic movie on social media.

In a lengthy stand-up set, Chappelle name-checked former President Donald Trump and Senate candidate Herschel Walker, as well as allusions to the negative reaction to jokes he has made about trans people.

Before he began his routine, he unfolded a small piece of paper and read from it: “‘I denounce antisemitism in all its forms. And I stand with my friends in the Jewish community.’ It is how you buy yourself some time.

Chappelle said he could see “if you had some kind of issue, you might go out to Hollywood and start connecting some kind of lines and you could maybe adopt the illusion that Jews run show business.”

One line in particular seemed to stun the audience, before they offered scattered applause: “I know the Jewish people have been through some terrible things all over the world. Black Americans can’t be blamed for that.

In an apparent nod to the backlash some comics receive when audiences find their jokes offensive, Chappelle ended the monologue by admitting to the audience he no longer enjoyed performing in front of large crowds, saying “it shouldn’t be this scary to talk about anything, it makes my job incredibly difficult.”

Netflix stood by the special, which was later nominated for two Emmys. Chappelle addressed the criticism on tour shortly after the release of his special, telling his audience he was willing to talk with trans critics but was not “bending to anybody’s demands.”

He also joked about Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving, who was suspended after posting a link to an antisemitic film, called Hebrew to Negroes: Wake Up Black America, that asserts the Holocaust never happened. Chappelle noted Irving’s “Black a– was nowhere near the Holocaust.”

Another bit featuring white anchors joking with a Black blues artist about the title of his album Potato Hole – until he tells them it was a crevice enslaved people dug to hide their most valued possessions from plantation owners – also scored. Chappelle chose a different path, which let us all down in the process, and he had already thrown me off balance.

“We shouldn’t expect @DaveChappelle to serve as society’s moral compass, but disturbing to see @nbcsnl not just normalize but popularize #antisemitism,” Greenblatt tweeted. “Why are Jewish sensitivities denied or diminished at almost every turn? Why does our trauma trigger applause?”

If they are black, then it is a gang. If they’re Italian, it’s a mob,” Chappelle said. It is a coincidence and you should not discuss it.
